Abstract

"AJUSTADOR DE FREIO A DISCO A AR". A presente invenção refere-se a um ajustador para uma montagem de freio a disco a ar é utilizado para acionar membros de tucho em lados opostos de um disco de freio rotativo para ajustar a posição da pastilha de freio em resposta ao desgaste da pastilha. O ajustador inclui uma embreagem unidirecional que permite aos membros de tucho serem acionados para ajuste em uma direção de aplicação do freio e impede o ajuste em uma direção de liberação do freio. O ajustador inclui um eixo de alimentação do ajustador, o qual é atuado por um eixo de operação do freio e um corpo do ajustador que suporta o primeiro e o segundo membros do ajustador. A embreagem unidirecional acopla o eixo de alimentação do ajustador com o corpo do ajustador de modo que o primeiro membro do ajustador aciona uma primeira montagem de tucho para ajustar uma primeira pastilha de freio em um lado do disco de freio rotativo e o segundo membro do ajustador aciona uma segunda montagem de tucho para independentemente ajustar uma segunda pastilha de freio em um lado oposto do disco de freio rotativo.
