Abstract
FORNO DE REDUçãO. A presente invenção se refere a um forno de redução vertical para produção de ferro metálico, através da redução direta de minério de ferro (DRI), compreendendo uma zona de alimentação de minério de ferro, uma zona de redução de minério de ferro, uma zona de descarga de ferro metálico (3) e um dispositivo de acumulação (6), o qual se comunica, em uma extremidade de entrada, com a zona de descarga de ferro metálico (3) e, em uma extremidade de saída, com um dispositivo vedante de gás (7) . O dispositivo de acumulação pode acumular o ferro metálico junto com os gases de saída do processo de redução.
