Abstract

UNIDADE DE LIMITAÇçO DE FORÇA PARA UM VEÍCULO AUTOMOTOR. A presente invenção refere-se a um dispositivo de limitação de força para ser empregado em um veículo automotor, que é designado para o ajuste da absorção de uma força que ocorre em uma situação de perigo no veículo automotor entre duas peças que se movem uma em relação à outra, inclui um dispositivo cinemático de absorção de energia com uma configuração tal que, no caso de um perfil predeterminado da diferença de velocidade das peças movidas uma em relação à outra em caso de perigo, seja possível concretizar diferentes níveis de limitação de força em função da massa das peças movidas e do impulso que ocorre no caso de perigo. Nesse sentido, o dispositivo de limitação de força para um dispositivo de retração de cinto autobloqueável é constituído por um eixo de cinto que retém o cinto e que está alojado em uma caixa, sendo que o sistema de massas que responde à rotação do eixo de cinto na direção de desenrolamento é constituído por uma série de massas pendulares (16) com dois braços dispostas pela periferia do eixo de cinto e apoiadas de modo pendular em torno de um ponto central de apoio (17) fixo à caixa, as quais, nas duas posições finais de seus movimentos pendulares, por meio de um dente (19) disposto em suas duas extremidades, engrenam na endentação externa (15) de um anel dentado (13) a ser acoplado ao eixo de cinto em caso de perigo e que gira com este, de tal modo que a oscilação da respectiva massa pendular (16), ao ocorrer a rotação do anel dentado (13) em relação às massas pendulares (16), seja gerada por meio do deslizamento dos flancos de dente, dos dentes (19) formados nas massas pendulares (16), nos flancos de dente da endentação externa (15) do anel dentado (13).
