Abstract
COMPOSIÇçO AQUOSA PARA ARMAZENAGEM DE HEMÁCIAS, SUSPENSçO DE HEMÁCIAS, MÉTODO DE PRESERVAÇçO DE HEMÁCIAS OU GLàBULOS VERMELHOS DO SANGUE ("RED BLOOD CELLS" - RBC'S) DURANTE UM PERÍODO DE ARMAZENAGEM, MÉTODO PARA APERFEIÇOAMENTO DA MANUTENÇçO DE MEMBRANA DE HEMÁCIAS OU GLàBULOS VERMELHOS DO SANGUE ("RED BLOOD CELLS" - RBC) E SUPRESSçO DE APOPTOSE DE RBC'S DURANTE UM PERÍODO DE ARMAZENAGEM, MÉTODO PARA REDUÇçO DE FRAGILIDADE DE HEMÁCIAS (RBC'S) E SUPRESSçO DE HEMàLISE DE RBC'S DURANTE UM PERÍODO DE ARMAZENAGEM, MÉTODO PARA AUMENTAR A VIABILIDADE DE HEMÁCIAS (RBC'S), MÉTODO DE PRESERVAÇçO DE HEMÁCIAS (RBC'S) DURANTE UM PERÍODO DE ARMAZENAGEM, COMBINAÇçO, E COMPOSIÇçO AQUOSA. A presente invenção propõe uma composição aquosa para armazenagem de glóbulos vermelhos do sangue consistindo essencialmente em: adenina; dextrose; pelo menos um açúcar procetor de membrana não metabolizável; e um sistema de tampão de pH especificamente definido. Também são providos métodos aperfeiçoados de preservação de glób;los vermelhos do sangue e métodos para aumentar a viabilidade, a retenção de membrana, e a recuperabilidade ccm simultânea supressão de apoptose, hemólise, e eliminação pós-infusão de glóbulos vermelhos do sangue armazenados que utilizam as novas composições.
