Abstract
PROCESSO DE REDUçãO DIRETA USANDO UM úNICO LEITO FLUIDIZADO A presente invenção refere-se a um processo de redução direta para um material metalífero, cujo processo compreende o suprimento de um material metalífero, -um material carbonáceo sólido, um gás contendo oxigênio e um gás de fluidificação em um leito fluidizado em um vaso, mantendo o leito fluidizado no vaso, reduzindo pelo menos parcialmente o material metalífero no vaso e descarregando uma corrente de produto que compreende o material metalífero pelo menos parcialmente reduzido proveniente do vaso. O processo é caracterizado por: a) reduzir o material metalífero em estado sólido, em uma zona rica em metal no vaso; b) injetar o gás contendo oxigênio dentro da zona rica em carbono no vaso, mediante um fluxo descendente com uma variação angular de mais ou menos 40<198> em relação à vertical, e gerar calor através de reações entre o oxigênio, o material metalífero (incluindo o material metalizado), o material carbonáceo sólido e outros sólidos e gases oxidáveis no leito fluidizado; e c) transferir calor da zona rica em carbono para a zona rica em metal, mediante movimentação dos sólidos dentro do vaso. A zona rica em metal é formada numa seção inferior do vaso e a zona rica em carbono é uma seção intermediária, abaixo de uma seção superior do vaso. O gás contendo oxigênio é injetado dentro de uma região central no vaso.
