Abstract

MÉTODOS DE CONFIGURAÇçO E GERENCIAMENTO DE SESSçO DE MULTIMÍDIA EM UM SISTEMA DE COMUNICAÇÕES BASEADO EM UNIDIFUSçO, ARRANJOS DE CONFIGURAÇçO E GERENCIAMENTO DE SESSçO DE MULTIMÍDIA, Nà DE REDE, E, TERMINAL DE USUÁRIO. Um provedor de multimidia (100) gera, com base em uma solicitação para um canal de mídia a partir de um terminal de usuário (10), uma descrição de configuração de sessão que é retomada ao terminal de usuário (10). A descrição define, quando processada no terminal de usuário (10), uma janela de sessão de multimídia (20) que é exibida em uma tela (12) do terminal e compreende uma região (22) para visualizar dados de multimídia de um canal solicitado, e uma região de canal (24) compreendendo informação sobre canais de midia disponíveis alternativos. A descrição também define uma vinculação entre entradas de usuário (14) do terminal (10) e identificadores dos canais alternativos. A descrição de configuração permite uma comutação de canal amigável, transmitindo automaticamente uma solicitação de comutação de canal ao provedor de multimidia (100), a um disparo da entrada de usuário (14) que está associada ao identificador do canal de midia solicitado. A descrição provê, então, uma interface gráfica visualmente atraente e permite simultaneamente uma comutação de canal de mídia amigável.
