Abstract

COMPOSIçõES DE BENZOTRIAZOL. A presente invenção refere-se a novas composições de (ben-zo)triazol compreendendo misturas de benzotriazóis e benzotriazóis N-substituidos em líquidos funcionais, por exemplo óleo mineral. As misturas podem ser preparadas a partir de materiais de partida prontamente obteníveis, tais como tolutriazol (TTA), alquil aldeidos e cicloalcanóis. A invenção refere-se ainda a um processo para proteger metais, que estão em contato com líquidos funcionais compreendendo as misturas.BENZOTRIAZOLE COMPOSITIONS. The present invention relates to novel (benzo) triazole compositions comprising mixtures of N-substituted benzotriazoles and N-substituted benzotriazoles in functional liquids, for example mineral oil. Mixtures may be prepared from readily obtainable starting materials such as tolutriazole (TTA), alkyl aldehydes and cycloalkanols. The invention further relates to a process for protecting metals which are in contact with functional liquids comprising the mixtures.
