Abstract
MéTODO PARA A PURIFICAçãO DE UM METAL FUNDIDO. A presente invenção refere-se a um método para a purificação de um metal fundido contendo um ou mais elementos estranhos. A invenção é caracterizada pelo fato de que o metal fundido é resfriado até uma temperatura eutética para formar simultaneamente cristais de metal purificado e cristais contendo pelo menos um elemento estranho, e pelo fato de que pelo menos alguns dos cristais contendo pelo menos um elemento estranho são separados dos cristais de metal purificado usando-se uma técnica de separação sólido-sólido.
