Abstract
PROCESSO PARA A PREPARAçãO DE BORRACHA DE NITRILA HIDROGENADA DE BAIXO PESO MOLECULAR. A presente invenção refere-se a polímeros de borracha de nitrila hidrogenada, que têm pesos moleculares mais baixos e distribuições de peso molecular mais estreitas do que aquelas conhecidas na técnica anterior, são preparadas por uma processo realizado na presença de hidrogênio e opcionalmente pelo menos uma co-olefina. De acordo com o processo, o substrato é simultaneamente submetido a uma reação de metátese e uma reação de hidrogenação. A reação ocorre na presença de um catalisador a base de alquiledeno de ósmio ou rutênio. A borracha de nitrila hidrogenada produzida tem um peso molecular (Mw) na faixa de 20.000 a 250.000. uma viscosidade Mooney (ML 1+4 em 100 graus C) na faixa de 1 a 50, e uma MWD de menos de 2,6. A borracha de nitrita hidrogenada obtida é usada em indústrias automotivas, elétricas, de engenharia mecânica e de construção de navios.
