Abstract
SISTEMA DE DESCONTAMINAçãO; E MéTODO DE DESCONTAMINAR UM MEIO. Trata-se de sistemas e métodos de descontaminação descritos. Em uma modalidade, um sistema (300) compreende um primeiro sub-sistema de adsorção/dessorção (225) que é configurado para receber uma solução gasosa contaminada e remover substancialmente todos os contaminantes da solução gasosa contaminada durante um ciclo de adsorção, enquanto um segundo sub-sistema (230) é configurado para purgar os contaminantes capturados durante um ciclo de dessorção. Um evacuador (255) pode ser empregado para acionar composições de gás potencialmente inflamáveis do sub-sistema (225) que opera em um ciclo de dessorção de volta para o sistema (300) tal que as composições de gás potencialmente inflamáveis são purgadas do sub-sistema (225) que opera no ciclo de dessorção no início do ciclo de dessorção. Uma fonte de calor seco (255) é configurada para aquecer os contaminantes adsorvidos nos sub-sistemas de adsorção/dessorção (225, 230) para remover os contaminantes dos sub-sistemas de adsorção/dessorção (225, 230) em um estado gasoso durante seu respectivo ciclo de dessorção.
