Abstract
ORDEM DE VARREDURA DOS COEFICIENTES ADAPTATIVOS Um codec de mídias digitais reorganiza uma ordem de varredura dos coeficientes da transformada, de acordo com a estatística local das mídias digitais, de forma que os coeficientes possam ser codificados de modo mais eficiente usando codificação de entropia. A seqüenciação de varredura adaptada é aplicada de forma causal na codificação e decodificação, para evitar a sinalização explícita da ordem de varredura para o decodificador no fluxo de mídias digitais comprimidas. Para eficiência computacional, a ordem de varredura adaptada reorganiza a ordem de varredura, aplicando uma operação de troca condicional em locais de coeficientes ordenados de modo adjacente através de uma única movimentação da ordem de varredura por atualização da análise estatística.
