Abstract
"PROCESSO E APARELHO PARA A PRODUçãO DE PRODUTOS úTEIS A PARTIR DE MATERIAL CARBONìFERO". Trata-se de um processo de conversão de material de alimentação em álcool no qual o dióxido de carbono é removido da corrente de gás de síntese emitida de um reformador de material de alimentação, de modo a se obter uma corrente de gás de síntese esgotado de dióxido de carbono, que inclui o hidrogênio, o monóxido de carbono e o metano. Esta corrente de gás de síntese esgotada de dióxido de carbono é então passada através de um reator de Fischer-Tropsch, obtendo-se finalmente um produto de álcool misturado, que é de preferência em grande parte o etanol. A corrente de dióxido de carbono removida é passada através de um reformador de metano juntamente com o metano, que é produzido em ou passou através de um reator de Fischer-Tropsch, de modo a se produzir basicamente monóxido de carbono e hidrogênio. A corrente de monóxido de carbono e hidrogênio do reformador de metano é levada a passar através do reator a álcool. Também são revelados um catalisador único, um método para controlar o teor do gás de síntese formado no reformador de material de alimentação e um sistema para manejo do material de alimentação.
