Abstract

"espécie de lactobacillus casei, preparação de lactobacilos ativando um corpo vivo tendo uma espécie de lactobacillus casei, e agente preventivo ou terapêutico contra infecções em humanos, animais e plantas tendo uma espécie de lactobacillus casei". foram despendidos esforços para desenvolver um lactobacilo, que seria utilizável como um probiótico, e para desenvolver um lactobacilo que iria colonizar e proliferar em lesões de infecção, eliminando as bactérias causais. este problema foi resolvido por desenvolvimento de uma espécie de lactobacillus casei tendo as seguintes propriedades chave: (1) a espécie pode ser cultivada na presença de qualquer um de um a quatro aminoácidos como uma fonte de nitrogênio necessária para crescimento. (2) quando um meio de cultura promotor do crescimento é inoculado com a espécie e escherichia coli na mesma contagem e submetido a cultivo misto anaeróbico a 37<198>c, a contagem final de lactobacilos é de 50% ou mais da contagem de coliformes. (3) quando do cultivo em um meio de cultura apropriado, o valor de ph final é 4,0 ou abaixo, e a maior acidez é 1,5% ou mais. (4) a espécie é resistente a sais de bile a 5%. (5) a espécie produz um antibiótico.
