Abstract

"USO DO ETANOL COMO PLASTIFICANTE PARA PREPARAR IMPLANTES SUBCUTáNEOS CONTENDO PRINCìPIOS ATIVOS TERMOLáBEIS DISPERSOS EM UMA MATRIZ PLGA". Usando etanol como plastificante para a preparação de implantes subcutâneos contendo um principio ativo disperso em uma matriz que tem por base PLGA por meio de extrusão, a temperatura de extrusão, geralmente acima de 75<198>C, pode ser diminuída para temperaturas maiores que a Tg do PLGA, porém inferiores ao ponto de ebulição do etanol e portanto abaixo de 70<198>C. Desta forma, podem ser preparados implantes subcutâneos contendo princípios ativos termolábeis, por exemplo, proteínas.
