Abstract
SISTEMA E MéTODO PARA REDUçãO DE óXIDOS DE NITROGêNIO A PARTIR DE GASES DE EXAUSTãO GERADOS POR UM MOTOR DE COMBUSTãO INTERNA DE QUEIMA EMPOBRECIDA. A presente invenção se refere a um sistema e a um método para redução de óxidos de nitrogênio a partir de gases de exaustão gerados por um motor de combustão interna de queima empobrecida (10), compreendendo um catalisador de NOx empobrecido (21) disposto para ser conectado para um conduíte de exaustão (22) do motor de combustão interna de queima empobrecida (10) um injetor (23) disposto para injeção de um agente de redução para ser utilizado pelo catalisador de NOx empobrecido (21) em um processo de redução, e um tanque de combustível (14) contendo o agente de redução, em que referido tanque de combustível (14) é um tanque de pressão adaptado para conter di-metil-éter como um agente de redução e referido injetor (23) está adaptado para injetar di-metil-éter a montante do referido catalisador de NOx empobrecido (21). Em concordância com a presente invenção, os referidos sistema e método estão caracterizados pelo fato de que o injetor (23) inclui um conjunto de canais de injeção (27) em que uma distância (d) , em uma direção radial de uma seção transversal ao longo de um eixo geométrico longitudinal de um conduíte de exaustão (22) em uma posição onde o injetor está posicionado, entre os canais de injeção posicionados o mais distantes um a partir do outro em referido conjunto de canais de injeção (27), e um raio equivalente R do catalisador de Nox empobrecido (21) preenchem a seguinte relação: d/R > 0,5.
