Abstract
"SISTEMA PARA PROVER TRANSIçõES ENTRE MODOS DE OPERAçãO DE UM DISPOSITIVO". Sistema para prover transições entre modos de operação (304, 310) de um dispositivo. O sistema inclui um método para prover transições entre um modo de operação privilegiado (310) e um modo de operação não-privilegiado (304). O método compreende executar um aplicativo no modo não-privilegiado (304), gerar uma interrupção (308) para solicitar os serviços de uma função privilegiada (322), e realizar transição para o modo privilegiado (310) para executar a função privilegiada (322), em que a função privilegiada (322) é executada como parte do mesmo processo de execução (302) que o aplicativo.
