Abstract

"CONTROLE GRANULAR SOBRE A AUTORIDADE DE INFORMAçãO REPLICADA POR MEIO DE PROTEçãO E DESPROTEçãO". Descrito um método e sistema para controlar qual conteúdo tem precedência e é replicado. Um conjunto de réplica é composto de um conjunto de recursos. Cada recurso é associado com dados do recurso e metadados do recurso. Dados do recurso, para o caso de arquivos, inclui conteúdos e atributos de arquivos, enquanto que metadados do recurso incluem atributos adicionais que são relevantes para negociação da sincronização durante a replicação. Um campo extra, denominado um "valor de proteção", é adicionado aos metadados associados com cada recurso. Durante a sincronização, valores de proteção são comparados. O recurso com o maior valor de proteção inclui o conteúdo que está controlando e que foi replicado. Se os valores de proteção forem iguais (e maiores do que um valor particular), o recurso de controle é determinado com base em outros metadados.
