Descreve-se um dispositivo para ser usado internamente em máquinas e equipamentos de auto-atendimento bancário tais como: terminais de clientes, terminais dispensadores de cédulas, terminais de depósito bancário, etc. Comporta preferencialmente sensor de proximidade capacitivo, sensor de falta de energia de alimentação elétrica, sensor de falta de conexão de comunicação de dados, sensores indicativos de porta fechada, sensor seletivo de rádio freq³ência, sensores de temperatura, de vibração e de inclinação, bem como um circuito eletrónico programável com interface que permite comunicação com outra unidade de processamento denominada 'host' e fonte autónoma de energia. O presente invento analisa de forma integrada a posição de todos os sensores em tempo real, determina comandos e envia informações via rede de comunicação, de providências a serem tomadas pelas pessoas envolvidas com a segurança dos terminais de auto-atendimento."SAFETY DEVICE FOR BANK SELF-SERVICE TERMINALS".
