Abstract
"CORPO DE CONTROLO, NOMEADAMENTE DESTINADO à VERIFICAçãO DAS PROPRIEDADES DE PENETRAçãO DE UM ESTERILIZANTE UTILIZADO EM PROCESSOS DE ESTERILIZAçãO". Um corpo de controlo (1) previsto para monitorizar as propriedades de penetração de um esterilizante apresenta, a par de um modo de construção compacto, uma sensibilidade de rastreio especialmente elevada, pelo que se presta também a ser aplicado na esterilização de instrumentos cirúrgicos minimamente invasivos, sendo conhecido que é difícil evacuar o ar contido nesses instrumentos, pelo que a sua esterilização se torna problemática. Para esse efeito o corpo de controlo (1) comporta um volume de detecção (24) previsto para alojar um indicador (26), volume esse que pode ser posto em comunicação, por intermédio de um volume colector de gás (4), com uma câmara de esterilização, sendo de acordo com a invenção o volume colector de gás (4) realizado de modo a comportar vários estágios, diminuindo entre estágios vizinhos (14, 16) a secção transversal e o volume de cada estágio (14, 16) à medida que se aproxima o volume de detecção (24).
