Abstract

"CARBONATO DE CáLCIO CúBICO PRECIPITADO., ABRASIVO, DENTIFRìCIO, E, MéTODO PARA FORMAR CARBONATO DE CáLCIO". Um carbonato de cálcio precipitado abrasivo é fornecido que fornece propriedades de limpeza excelentes sem ser excessivamente abrasivo ou danificar as superfícies da gengiva ou do dente. O carbonato de cálcio precipitado, abrasivo tem um tamanho de partícula primária de cerca de 1 <109>m a cerca de 4 <109>m, e um tamanho de agregado de cerca de 3 <109>m a cerca de 10 <109>m. Também relevado é um método para formar carbonato de cálcio que compreende as etapas de fornecer um meio de reação; introduzir dióxido de carbono e suspensão de hidróxido de cálcio simultaneamente em um meio de reação para formar carbonato de cálcio enquanto mantém pH constante durante precipitação do carbonato de cálcio; e opcionalmente secar a suspensão de carbonato de cálcio para formar um produto de carbonato de cálcio seco. Também revelado é um dentifrício contendo o cálcio precipitado, abrasivo acima mencionado, e um ou mais ingredientes selecionados do grupo que consiste de umectantes, agentes de espessamento, aglutinantes, gomas, agentes estabilizantes, agentes antibacterianos, fluoretos, adoçantes, e tensoativos.
