Abstract

Um processo para a preparação de uréia compreendendo a adição de metanol a um gás contendo monóxido de carbono, contatar o gás contendo monóxido de carbono, metanol e água em, pelo menos, uma etapa 'shift' na presença de um catalisador compreendendo cobre, zinco e alumínio e/ou cromo para produzir uma corrente rica em dióxido de carbono, transferir a corrente rica em dióxido de carbono de, pelo menos, uma etapa 'shift' para um reator de uréia e reagir o dióxido de carbono com amónia para produzir uréia."PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF UREA". A process for the preparation of urea comprising adding methanol to a carbon monoxide-containing gas, contacting the carbon monoxide, methanol and water-containing gas in at least one shift step in the presence of a catalyst comprising copper, zinc. and aluminum and / or chromium to produce a carbon dioxide rich stream, transfer the carbon dioxide rich stream from at least one shift step to a urea reactor and react carbon dioxide with ammonia to produce urea .
