Abstract

COMPOSIÇÃO DE EMULSÃO CEROSA REPELENTE DE ÁGUA, MADEIRA REPELENTE DE ÁGUA E MÉTODO PARA TRATAMENTO DE MADEIRA. São descritas emulsões de cera à base de água, opcionalmente para uso em conjunto com sistemas conservantes à base de cobre alcalino e/ou amônio quaternário. Estas emulsões são compostas de agentes tensoativos não-iônicos de cera sintética ou natural que têm valores de HLB maiores que 11, agentes tensoativos aniônicos e água. São descritas nesta especificação algumas composições de emulsões que possuem a única propriedade de manter estabilidade de emulsão em conservantes de madeira durante uso prolongado em processos típicos de tratamento de madeira. São descritas madeiras repelentes a água, tratadas com as emulsões de cera. É também apresentado um método de tratamento de madeira, que compreende fornecer madeira e tratar a madeira com a emulsão cerosa sob condições eficazes para aumentar a sua repelência à água.
