Abstract

"meio de detecção de staphylococcus aureus e/ou estafilococos com coagulase positiva e método de identificação de bactéria(s) da espécie staphylococcus aureus em uma amostra". a presente invenção refere-se a um meio de detecção específica de staphylococcus aureus e/ou discriminação de staphylococcus com coagulase positiva em relação aos staphylococcus com coagulase negativa, permitindo o isolamento das bactérias do gênero estafilococo e a identificação da espécie staphylococcus aureus, que utilizam, pelo menos, um substrato enzimático, preferivelmente um agente cromógeno ou fluorescente, e ainda mais preferivelmente constituído à base de indoxila ou de naftol. ela refere-se igualmente a um processo de identificação, e eventualmente de contagem de staphylococcus aureus que utiliza um tal meio. ela consiste em um meio de cultura de staphylococcus aureus e, pelo menos, um substrato enzimático permitindo colocar em evidência uma atividade <244>-glucosidase. a invenção encontra uma aplicação preferencial no campo do diagnóstico.
