"gaxeta". descreve-se uma gaxeta. a gaxeta compreende uma camada de vedação e uma camada de suporte. a camada de vedação é formada por um material resiliente, que compreende um componente cev em uma proporção de pelo menos 25% p/p da camada de vedação. o componente cev é pelo menos parcialmente derivado de cev seca. um polímero resistente à hidrólise para melhorar a resistência à água da camada de vedação também é fornecido, na proporção de menos de 20% p/p da camada de vedação. genericamente, o nível de cev se encontra dentro da faixa de 25 - 80% p/p da camada de vedação. também se descreve um processo para a produção da gaxeta. o processo envolve a aplicação de uma massa de camada de vedação úmida a um material de suporte e a secagem da massa de camada de vedação úmida sobre o material de suporte. o teor de sólidos da massa de camada de vedação úmida antes da etapa de secagem está na faixa de 30 - 80% p/p do material de massa.
