Osprocessos para a modulação do teor, estrutura e metabolismo dospolipeptídeos envolvidos na via biossintética de isoprenóides emorganismos alvos são também descritos, os métodoscompreendendo a incorporação de um ou mais dospolinucleotídeos ou construções genéticas da presente invençãono genoma de um organismo alvo. A modulação do teor, estruturae metabolismo destes polipeptídeos produzem modificações noteor, estrutura e metabolismo dos isoprenóides no organismo alvo.Invention Patent: "MATERIALS AND PROCESSES FOR AMODIFICATION OF DEISOPRENOID CONTENT, COMPOSITION AND METABOLISM". New isolated polynucleotides associated with isoprenoid biosynthetic pathways are provided, along with genetic constructions comprising these sequences. Processes for modulating the content, structure and metabolism of polypeptides involved in the isoprenoid biosynthetic pathway in target organisms are also described, methods including the incorporation of one or more dospolinucleotides or genetic constructs of the present invention into the genome of a target organism. The modulation of the content, structure and metabolism of these polypeptides produces significant changes, structure and metabolism of isoprenoids in the target organism.
