Abstract

"COMPOSIçãO DE REVESTIMENTO E ARTIGO". A presente invenção se refere a composições de revestimento para o preparo de revestimentos resistentes à abrasão as quais contêm: (a) a partir de 5 a 75 por cento em peso, com base no peso total da composição de revestimento, de monómeros de silano: (i) glicidoxi ( (C~ 1~-C~ 3~)alquila)) tri (~C 1~-C~ 4~) alcóxi-silano e (ii) tetra (C~ 1~-C~ 6~)alcoxisilano),a relação em peso de (i) para (ii) variando a partir de 0,5:1 a 100:1;(b)uma quantidade catalisadora de um sol de alumina acídica aquosa, referido sol tendo partículas de alumina de um tamanho de partícula médio de não mais que 200 nanometros; (c) uma quantidade suficiente para dissolver de um solvente orgânico; (d) uma quantidade niveladora de surfactante não iónico; e (e) água em uma quantidade suficiente para formar hidrolisados dos referidos monómeros de silano.
