Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"SISTEMA DE DETECçãO BIOLóGICA PORTáTIL INTEGRADO"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a separação de células bacterianas e cancerígenas de sangue humano periférico em chips eletrónicos microfabricados por dieletroforese. As células isoladas foram examinadas por coloração dos núcleos com corante fluorescente, seguida por formação de imagem fluorescente induzida por laser. DNA e RNA também foram liberados eletronicamente das células liberadas, e as sequências de marcadores específicos detectadas por amplificação de DNA, seguida por hibridização eletrónica para as sondas de captura imobilizadas. DNA and RNA were also released electronically from the released cells, and the sequences of specific markers detected by DNA amplification, followed by electronic hybridization for the immobilized capture probes. Attempts to build a "lab-on-a chip" system are presented, which involves selecting DNA probes, dyes, reagents and establishing a fully integrated portable instrument prototype.
