Abstract
"FIBRAS DE MADEIRA KRAFT PARA CARBOXIALQUILCELULOSE". é revelado um processo para produção de fibras demadeira kraft possuindo um teor de alfa-celulose maior do que 97%e uma viscosidade maior do que 40 centipoise. O processoenvolve pré-hidrolização de lascas de madeira dura com água,cozimento kraft, alvejamento e tratamento cáustico. A polparesultante pode ser convertida em superabsorventes decarboximetil celulose possuindo propriedades aperfeiçoadas,especialmente uma "absorvência sob carga"superior."KRAFT WOOD FIBERS FOR CARBOXIALCHYLCELLULOSE". a process is disclosed for producing kraft wood fibers having an alpha-cellulose content greater than 97% and a viscosity greater than 40 centipoise. The process involves pre-hydrolyzing hard wood chips with water, kraft cooking, bleaching and caustic treatment. The resulting resultant can be converted into carboxymethyl cellulose superabsorbents having improved properties, especially a higher "absorbency under load".
