Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MéTODO E EQUIPAMENTO PARA A REDUçãO DIRETA DE óXIDOS DE FERRO"<D>. Método para a redução direta de ferro mineral dentro de um forno de redução vertical (10) do tipo com carga gravitacional, onde o gás de redução flui em contra-fluxo com relação ao material introduzido no forno, compreendendo as seguintes etapas: o ferro mineral é alimentado por cima no forno (10), uma mistura de gás de alta temperatura consistindo em gás de redução com base de H~ 2~ e CO é injetada, e o mineral reduzido é removido do forno (10). A mistura de gás é introduzida em pelo menos uma zona (14) do forno (10). A mistura consiste no gás de processo, o qual emerge do mesmo forno, e de um gás adicional que chega de um circuito externo de reforma. Adicionalmente, o gás natural (preferivelmente metano) e/ou o oxigênio podem ser misturados ali.
