Abstract

<B>MéTODO PARA IMPEDIR OU RETARDAR A FORMAçãO DE HIDRATOS DE GáS<D> Uma composição é provida aqui, para impedir ou retardar a formação de hidratos de gás ou para a redução da tendência à aglomeração de hidratos de gás, durante o transporte de um fluido, que compreende água e um hidrocarboneto, através de um conduto. A composição é um homopolímero de caprolactamo de vinila, que tem o peso molecular baixo na faixa de 500 a 2500, ou copolímeros do mesmo, em um solvente definido. Esses homopolímeros e copolímeros, preferencialmente, são feitos e aplicados no solvente definido, o qual, mais preferencialmente, é um éter glicol, tal como 2-butoxietanol.
