Abstract
<B>MéTODO E APARELHO PARA SEPARAçãO DE BIBLIOTECAS DE CATALISADORES<D> Obtém-se separação rápida em relação a atividades e seletividades de bibliotecas de catalisadores tendo locais de teste endereçáveis pelo contato de catalisadores em potencial nos locais de teste com correntes de reagente que formam colunas de produtos nos locais de teste endereçáveis. As colunas de produto são separadas mudando-se uma sonda de amostra e/ou biblioteca para uma posição na qual um local endereçável esteja próximo do orifício de amostragem de amostra de sonda e passando uma porção dos produtos de reação através do orifício de amostragem formando um volume expandido de jato livre pelo menos em um estágio a vácuo e passando uma porção do fluxo de jato com pressão reduzida e resfriado através de um orifício de entrada de um espectrómetro de massa para análise. A análise espectrométrica de massa pode ser combinada com métodos de detecção, de ionização de multifótons com ressonância aumentada, para avaliação muito rápida da biblioteca. Reatores adequados, micro-reatores, e microssondas de amostra de transferência de produtos para transferência de produtos para um espectrómetro de massa são revelados.<B> METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SEPARATING CATALYST LIBRARIES <D> Rapid separation in relation to catalyst library activities and selectivities is achieved by having test sites addressable by contacting potential catalysts at test sites with reagent streams that form product columns at addressable test sites. Suitable reactors, micro-reactors, and product transfer sample micro-probes for transferring products to a mass spectrometer are revealed.
