Abstract

A process for preparing a rigid polyurethane foam of: (1) an organic polyisocyanate comprising an aromatic polyisocyanate; (2) a polyol comprising a polyether polyol and / or polyester polyol; (3) a blowing agent; and (4) a surfactant, a catalyst and other auxiliaries; characterized by the fact that the blowing agent (3) is cyclopentane and water; the polyol (2) is a polyether polyol and / or polyester polyol having unsatisfactory compatibility with cyclopentane; and the cliclopentane is mixed and dispersed in a polyol premix comprising components (2) to (4).
