Abstract
Patente de Invenção para <B>"MéTODOS DE MANUFATURAMENTO DE FULIGEM PARA PRé-FORMAS DE FIBRA óTICA E PRé-FORMAS PRODUZIDAS PELOS MéTODOS"<B>. A presente invenção é dirigida aos métodos de produção de fuligem usada na manufatura de guias de ondas óticas. Ambos reagentes líquidos não-aquosos e soluções aquosas contendo um ou mais sais, são distribuídos através de um conjunto de queimador de atomização para formar uma corrente de fuligem homogênea contendo os óxidos dos elementos selecionados contidos dentro do reagente líquido não-aquoso e a solução aquosa. A fuligem de multi-componentes resultante é coletada por métodos convencionais, para formar pré-formas usadas na manufatura de fibras de guia de onda ótica. Alternativamente, uma solução aquosa pode ser atomizada com um gás em um primeiro conjunto de queimador para formar um aerosol e um reagente vaporizado para distribuição para um segundo conjunto de queimador. As pré-formas produzidas pelos métodos são também reveladas. A solução aquosa é preferivelmente uma compreendendo um sal de metal, por exemplo., acetato, nitrato, sulfato carbonato, cloreto, hidróxido. O metal do sal de metal é preferivelmente um metal alcalino, um metal alcalino terroso, chumbo, lantânio, cobalto, antimónio, érbio, alumínio, neodímio, praseodímio.
