Abstract
"MéTODO DE SUPRESSãO DE SUPERSATURAçãO EM CABOS ELéTRICOS SUBTERRâNEOS" Um método para aperfeiçoar as propriedades dielétricas de um cabo elétrico tendo um condutor de fio central encerrado em um isolamento polimérico. O cabo define um espaço vazio intersticial (V~ 1~) entre os fios do condutor. O volume (V~ 2~) de um fluido de aperfeiçoamento dielétrico requerido para ser absorvido pelo cabo de modo a atingir um nível predeterminado de aperfeiçoamento dielétrico é determinado. A razão de (V~ 1~/V~ 2~) é computada. Se a razão de (V~ 1~/V~ 2~) for maior do que uma razão máxima de 1.4, neste caso uma quantidade de fluido de aperfeiçoamento dielétrico é diluído com uma quantidade suficiente de um diluente a fim de produzir uma mistura de diluente e de fluido de aperfeiçoamento dielétrico, de tal forma que quando o volume (V~ 1~) da mistura é suprido para o interior do cabo, o cabo terá sido suprido com um volume (V~ 3~) do fluido de aperfeiçoamento dielétrico dentro da mistura de tal forma que (V~ 3~/V~ 2~) passa a ser menor do que 1.4. O diluente é substancialmente insolúvel no isolamento polimérico, tem uma viscosidade inicial suficientemente baixa para permitir introdução no interior do cabo, e é miscível com o fluido de aperfeiçoamento dielétrico.
