Abstract
Patente de Invenção: <B>"USOS FARMACêUTICOS PARA INIBIDORES DE NóS"<D>. A presente invenção refere-se a novos usos farmacêuticos para compostos que exibem atividade como inibidores de óxido nítrico-sintase (NOS). Especificamente, refere-se ao uso de inibidores de NOS, particularmente inibidores de NOS neuronal (N-NOS) seletivos: (a) isolado ou em combinação com outro agente ativo para o tratamento da psoríase; (b) em combinação com um agente antiinflamatório para o tratamento de desordens inflamatórias; (c) em combinação com um analgésico narcótico (por exemplo, opiatos tais como morfina ou demerol) para o tratamento da dor; (d) isolado ou em combinação com outros agentes ativos para o melhoramento da cognição; (e) isolado ou em combinação com outros ativos para o tratamento de desordens do sono tais como apnéia, narcolepsia e insónia.
