Abstract

MONTAGEM DE SENSOR DE FORçA Um sensor de força (20) possui um corpo vedado (34) preenchido com um líquido ou um gel (53). Um transdutor de pressão, juntamente com um circuito integrado suportador (66), é posicionado para responder à pressão do líquido ou do gel. As cargas são aplicadas ao transdutor de pressão por meio do gel através de um pistão que se desloca dentro do corpo. As cargas compressivas são desse modo tansformadas na forma de pressão sobre o sensor e o seu suporte de componentes eletrónicos, resultando em um sensor durável, acurado e de baixo custo. O sensor funciona bem relativamente para cargas baixas de menos do que a umas poucas centenas de libras.
