Abstract

"MéTODO E APARELHO CENTRìFUGOS PARA DESVOLATILIZAR POLìMEROS". A presente invenção compreende um método para desvolatilizar um polímero termoplástico contendo pelo menos um componente volátil que inclui as seguintes etapas: aquecer o polímero termoplástico tal que o polímero termoplástico seja um polímero termoplástico líquido aquecido ou fundido, escoar o polímero termoplástico líquido aquecido através de um leito empacotado por força centrífuga; e diluir um gás de esgotamento através de um contator de gás-líquido de leito empacotado em contracorrente ao escoamento do polímero termoplástico líquido aquecido de modo que o componente volátil volatilize no gás de esgotamento a partir do polímero termoplástico líquido aquecido por contato gás-líquido no leito empacotado, e um aparelho para tal.
