Através da adição de um polímero catiónico (em particular, um copolímero de aminoalquilmetacrilato ou acetal dietilaminoacetato de polivinila) ou um polímero catiónico mais um polímero viscoso a um produto medicinal de elevado peso molecular para a produção de um preparado na forma em pó, é possível obter uma absorção efetiva do produto medicinal de elevado peso molecular através da mucosa.
