"PROCESSO PARA A SEPARAçãO DE CATALISADOR EM SOLUçãO DE UMA MISTURA DE REAçãO PRODUZIDA PELA OXIDAçãO DE CICLOHEXANO EM áCIDO ADìPICO" Esta invenção se refere a processos de controle da oxidação de ciclohexano em ácido adípico, na presença de um solvente ácido monobásico, por separação do catalisador da mistura de reação, fora da zona de reação. Substancialmente todo o ciclohexano não reagido, a maior parte do ácido adípico e substancialmente todo o solvente ácido monobásico são, de preferência, removidos. Um solvente prótido pode ser adicionado intermitente ou continuamente na mistura de reação, durante a remoção do solvente ácido monobásico, de preferência por destilação, para evitar a precipitação de sólidos. A dipolar aprotic solvent is then added, in the presence of an adequate amount of the protic solvent, to maintain a single liquid phase, followed by a two-liquid phase formation phase, a solid-free protic liquid phase, containing substantially all of the catalyst, and an aprotic liquid phase free of solids, containing at least most of the ingredients of the reaction mixture. The formation of the two phases is carried out by a process selected from the group that consists of reducing the first temperature to a second temperature, adding more protic solvent, adding an apolar aprotic solvent and a combination of these.
