Abstract

Patente de Invenção para <B>"DISPOSITIVO COAXIAL MONOLìTICO"<D>. A presente invenção proporciona dispositivos interferométrico e de gelosia ambientalmente estáveis que exibem baixa perda de excesso e perda dependente de polarização. O ruído modal nas divisões entre os rabichos de dispositivo e a fibra do sistema é minimizado ou eliminado. A presente invenção é um dispositivo ótico (10) para filtragem de um sinal de luz. O dispositivo ótico (10) apresenta uma resposta espectral sintonizável. O dispositivo ótico (10) inclui uma fibra ótica (25) tendo uma primeira região de núcleo (30) e um revestimento (34) com índice de refração n ~2~. A primeira região de núcleo (30) inclui um núcleo (32) tendo um índice de refração n ~1~, e um regulador de acoplamento de fibra (300) integral com a primeira fibra ótica (25). O primeiro regulador de acoplamento de fibra (300) acopla o sinal de luz entre uma primeira trajetória ótica e uma segunda trajetória ótica, e impede substacialmente o sinal de luz de acoplar em uma terceira trajetória ótica.
