Abstract

"TRATAMENTO DE MINéRIOS DE SULFETOS METáLICOS USTULADOS E DE FERRITAS POR LIXIVIAçãO COM O áCIDO PEROXISULFúRICO". Processo para o tratamento de um ustulado minério de sulfetos metálicos, para a separação dos metais nele contidos. o processo compreende lixiviar o ustulado minério com o ácido peroxisulfúrico, opcionalmente em presença de gás cloro, e separando uma solução contendo os metais. O processo é particularmente útil na separação de cobre e zinco a partir dos minérios de sulfetos daqueles metais, em particular quando o minério foi submetido a uma ustulação completa ou a uma ustulação de sulfatização e o minério ustulado contém então ferritas as quais de outro modo requerem altas concentrações de ácido e altas temperaturas de lixiviação para a recuperação dos metais nele contidos.
