Abstract

"SEQuêNCIA DE áCIDO NUCLEICO, POLIPEPTìDEO ISOLADO, PURIFICADO OU RECOMBINANTE, VETOR, CéLULA HOSPEDEIRA, CéLULA DE PLANTA, PLANTA OU PARTE DE UMA PLANTA, MATERIAL DE PROPAGAçãO, E, USO DE UMA SEQuêNCIA DE áCIDO NUCLEICO" Uma seq³ência de ácido nucleico é proporcionada a qual codifica um gene de giberelina-2-oxidase que catalisa a 2ß-oxidação de uma molécula de giberelina para introduzir um grupo hidroxila em C-2 e adicionalmente catalisa a oxidação do grupo hidroxila introduzido em C-2 para dar o derivado cetónico. Tais seq³ências podem encontrar aplicação na preparação de plantas transgênicas com níveis alterados de giberelina-2-oxidase.
