The mounting cradle (16) ensures that a probe located on the inside of the waveguide (30) within the LNB (12) can be aligned at a predetermined angle to the cradle (16) and, hence, the rod arm (14) and the satellite dish (10) to optimize the reception of signals from specific satellites.
