Abstract

Patente de Invenção: <B>"MOTOR DIESEL DE DENSIDADE DE ALTA POTêNCIA"<D>. Motor (10) que apresenta um bloco de motor (12) com um cilindro de compressão (22) e um cilindro de expansão (24) definidos no mesmo. Um pistão de compressão (34) é localizado no cilindro de compressão (22) e um pistão de expansão(36) é localizado no cilindro de expansão (24). Cada pistão é conectado a um eixo de manivela (26, 28). Um tubo de antecâmara giratório (44) que apresenta duas câmaras de combustão de volume constante (48) definidas no mesmo é posicionado dentro de um alojamento (14) acoplado ao bloco de motor (12). As portas de indução e expansão formam, respectivamente, passagens que se comunicam com o cilindro de compressão (22) e o cilindro de expansão (24) com as câmaras (48) do tubo (44). O tubo (44) em si é giratoriamente sustentado no alojamento (14) e orientado com seu eixo (46) que é geralmente transversal aos eixos do cilindro. O motor (10) é operado de tal forma que as câmaras (48) sejam sucessivamente trazidas para comunicação através da porta de indução com o cilindro de compressão (22), separadas da comunicação com o cilindro de compressão (22), trazidas para uma posição para receber o combustível originário do dito injetor de combustível (62) e para iniciar a combustão, e depois trazidas para comunicação através da porta de expansão com o cilindro de expansão (24) para completar a combustão.
