Abstract
"PROCESSOS PARA TRANSFERêNCIA DE PASSAGEM DE PELO MENOS UMA CONEXãO PARA UMA ESTAçãO MóVEL EM UM SISTEMA DE TELECOMUNICAçãO CELULAR, E PARA ESTABELECER UMA CONEXãO DE UMA ESTAçãO MóVEL EM UM SISTEMA DE TELECOMUNICAçãO CELULAR, E, SISTEMA PARA CONTROLAR CONEXõES PARA UMA ESTAçãO MóVEL EM UMA REDE DE TELECOMUNICAçõES CELULARES" A invenção descreve realização de otimização de enlace de transmissão em uma situação onde uma estação móvel se moveu de uma área de rede controlada por um primeiro controlador de rede de rádio (RNC) RNC1 para uma área de rede controlada por um segundo controlador de rede de rádio RNC2. Sinalização associada com o procedimento é executada entre os dois RNCs e um centro de comutação móvel (MSC). A estação móvel não precisa participar na sinalização, desde que os recursos de rádio usados permanecem os mesmos. O objetivo deste procedimento é otimizar a utilização de ligações de transmissão na rede de acesso de rádio sendo usada (RAN) e minimizar o atraso de transmissão entre o RNC de controle e a interface de rádio. Isto é realizado relocando as entidades com conexões de controle de uma estação móvel do primeiro RNC para o segundo RNC, e otimizando as ligações de transmissão entre o MSC e o segundo RNC.
