Abstract

COMPOSIçõES MICROBICIDAS E MéTODOS USANDO COMBINAçõES SINéRGICAS DE PROPICONAZOL E 2-MERCAPTOBENZOTIAZOL". São descritas composições contendo combinações sinérgicas de propiconazol, (RS)-1-2-[(2,4-diclorofenil)-4-propil-1,3-dioxalan-2-ilmetil]-1H-1,2,4-tria zol, e 2-mercaptobenzotiazol ou um sal metálico alcalino deste. O propiconazol e o 2-mercaptobenzotiazol ou um sal metálico alcalino deste são aplicados a um substrato ou sistema aquoso sujeito ao crescimento de pelo menos um microorganismo. Também são descritos métodos para controlar o crescimento de microorganismos sobre diversos substratos e diversos sistemas aquosos. A combinação de propiconazol e 2-mercaptobenzotiazol ou um sal metálico alcalino deste é particularmente útil como microbicida na indústria de couros, na indústria de madeiras para construção, na indústria de papel, na indústria textil, na indústria agrícola, e na indústria de revestimentos, bem como em águas de processos industriais.
