Abstract

"COBERTURA DE ALOJAMENTO DE BATERIA PARA EXAURIR GASES DE UMA BATERIA, E, APARELHO PARA A EXAUSTãO DE GASES DE UMA BATERIA". Uma cobertura para exaurir gases a partir de células de bateria de filme metálico fino possuindo exaustões dispostas no centro de uma extremidade das células. As exaustões compreendem poços cilíndricos (72) que entram e substancialmente preenchem as partes superiores das cavidades da célula de bateria dentro de um alojamento de bateria. As cavidades são dimensionadas para manter as células de bateria seguras e são configuradas para fornecer uma conexão elétrica em série. Os poços incluem tubos (71) que se estendem para fora a partir do fundo dos poços e guiam a partir das aberturas nas bases dos poços. As aberturas nos tubos são cobertas com cápsulas de válvulas flexíveis (77) e tampas de poço (78) cobrem os poços. A disposição de ponto central das paredes com recesso permite que os gases das células de bateria escapem através das aberturas, e ainda assim restrinjam o eletrólito de sair do alojamento. A base do alojamento da bateria não possui aberturas de exaustão e é intercambiável com a cobertura de forma que o alojamento de bateria possa ser orientado com os terminais perto do topo ou do fundo do envoltório.
