Abstract
"VASO ESTANQUE A PRESSãO". Um vaso estanque a pressão submetido a ciclos térmicos severos através de uma faixa de temperatura que inclui temperaturas até acima de aproximadamente 371 graus C. Diferentemente de vasos estanques à pressão convencionais, que são construídos de placas arranjadas horizontalmente, o vaso é construído de placas que são maiores que 4,9 metros de comprimento. Como resultado, não há quaisquer costuras circunferenciais em uma área crítica da seção cilíndrica do vaso, proporcionando durabilidade superior.
