Abstract

"NúCLEO DE CABO DE FIBRAS óPTICAS, CABO DE FIBRAS óPTICAS E PROCESSO DE FABRICAR UM TUBO PROTETOR REFORçADO PARA O NúCLEO DE UM CABO DE FIBRAS óPTICAS". Um núcleo de cabo de fibras ópticas inclui um tubo protetor contendo pelo menos uma fibra óptica e reforçado por pelo menos dois membros de reforço longitudinal substancialmente radialmente incompressíveis, cada membro de reforço tendo partes superficiais radialmente extrema externas com respeito ao eixo geométrico do tubo que sobressaem da superfície exterior do tubo protetor. Se os membros de reforço sobressaírem da superfície exterior do tubo protetor, menos de 50%, e de preferência menos de 20%, da superfície externa dos membros de reforço sobressaem da superfície exterior do tubo protetor.
