Artigo absorvente descartável com barreira anti-transbordante elastizada capaz de absorver, reter e conter líquidos, tal como uma fralda, que compreende uma cobertura superior que tem contato com a pele do usuário, uma cobertura de respaldo que é prevista para ter contato com a roupa ou peça de vestir do usuário, que encerra entre ambas um núcleo absorvente, uma zona de entre-pernas, canais e uma barreira lateral anti-transbordante, caracterizado pelo fato de que a dita barreira lateral anti-transbordante é composta por um material hidrofóbico na sua face externa à fralda e outro hidrofílico em sua face interna ao artigo absorvente, encapsulando um material absorvente entre os ditos materiais hidrofóbicos e hidrofílicos que possui a capacidade de absorver e reter os líquidos não absorvidos pelo núcleo absorvente.
